Blue Cross (Asia Pacific) Insurance has formed a strategic partnership with United Family Healthcare, Hong Kong Integrated Oncology Center, HEAL Oncology under New Frontier Group, and Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital. This alliance aims to provide cross-border medical services for eligible customers in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
Expanded Access to Consultations and Surgeries
Under the agreement, individual and group health insurance holders from Blue Cross can access medical consultations and surgeries at United Family Healthcare’s Shenzhen and Guangzhou hospitals, as well as Zhongshan Chen Xinghai Hospital.
Patients will benefit from streamlined services, as doctors will manage pre-treatment evaluations and direct billing applications. This eliminates the need for patients to handle prepayments themselves.
Specialized Cancer Care Across Borders
The partnership also supports cancer patients by providing diagnostic imaging and oncology treatments through the Hong Kong Cancer Center and HEAL Oncology. Eligible patients have the option to receive cross-border care, ensuring access to comprehensive cancer services.
Both centers offer a wide range of care, covering everything from initial diagnosis to systemic treatment.
Additional Support and Benefits for Policyholders
Blue Cross offers free medical consultations for cancer diagnosis to eligible policyholders. The company has also established a dedicated customer service team to help arrange cross-border appointments and consultations smoothly.
Further benefits include concierge hospitalization services at United Family Healthcare Centers and one free dental cleaning service for qualifying customers.
