Igloo has introduced Igloo Tech Solutions, a suite of modular digital tools aimed at helping insurers and brands modernize operations, integrate AI, and create new revenue streams. The move comes as Asia Pacific insurers continue to underinvest in technology, allocating only 2% to 3% of their gross written premium (GWP) to digital initiatives.
Built on No-Code Turbo Platform
Igloo Tech Solutions is built on Igloo’s no-code core platform, Turbo. The new suite includes three main products: Igloo Agent, Igloo Consumer, and Igloo Partner. Each product is designed to address specific business needs, from optimizing agent networks to streamlining claims management and enhancing customer interfaces.
Igloo Agent, Consumer, and Partner
Igloo Agent is designed to support and improve insurer agent networks. It helps agents manage sales and operations more efficiently.
Igloo Consumer focuses on customer interactions. It offers tools that improve the end-to-end experience for policyholders.
Igloo Partner enables insurers to embed insurance products within third-party ecosystems, such as retail stores or financial apps. This helps open new distribution channels and revenue streams.
AI Claims Agent and Fraud Detection
Among the suite’s standout features is the AI Claims Agent. This tool lets users file a claim through a simple chat interface. The system provides an immediate claim decision and a clear explanation of that decision.
Igloo has also developed an AI Fraud Detection tool. It uses optical character recognition (OCR) and large language model (LLM) technology to identify potential inconsistencies in claims. When it flags a suspicious item, it automatically notifies the claims and fraud teams for further review.
Early Adopters Across the Region
Several insurers in the Asia Pacific region have already adopted Igloo Tech Solutions:
MSIG Vietnam uses Igloo Agent to improve its sales processes and overall operations.
Kredivo in Indonesia integrated Igloo Consumer into its financial app. As a result, Kredivo can now offer insurance products directly to its customers.
BIMA in Cambodia is implementing Igloo Partner. This allows BIMA to embed insurance offerings into retail stores.
A Singaporean insurer has also deployed Igloo Partner to streamline its claims processing workflow.
These early adopters demonstrate how the Igloo Tech Solutions suite can be tailored to different markets and business models.
