Stellantis Financial Services UK has signed a multi-year agreement with insurtech firm Wrisk. Under the deal, Wrisk will power a new embedded insurance service for twelve Stellantis marques. These include Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Citroën, DS Automobiles, FIAT, FIAT Pro, Jeep, Leapmotor, Maserati, Peugeot, SPOTiCAR, and Vauxhall.
Digital Subscription Model for Flexible Coverage
Wrisk will deploy its digital subscription platform to manage insurance products. Customers will receive month-to-month coverage that they can adjust or cancel at any time without penalty. The service offers:
In-app policy access
Branded user experience
24/7 customer support
Both new buyers and existing Stellantis customers will be able to sign up.
Smooth Transition for Existing Customers
All current Stellantis insurance holders will be moved onto the Wrisk platform. Eligible customers will also get a temporary liability waiver. This waiver covers them from the moment they take possession of their vehicle until their new policy is active.
Meeting Demand for Embedded Services
Kevin Douglas, Marketing Director at Stellantis Financial Services, stressed the growing appetite for simple, digital-first services. He said Wrisk’s platform and insurance expertise make it an ideal partner. Robert Cottrell, Wrisk’s Vice President of Commercial, added that the collaboration demonstrates how seamless, scalable insurance can enhance the overall automotive experience.
Part of a Wider Automotive Trend
Automakers and finance brands are increasingly embedding insurance into the car-buying journey. By integrating cover at the point of sale, they aim to simplify the process and meet modern consumer expectations for speed and convenience.
Strategic Benefits for Both Companies
For Wrisk, the deal broadens its footprint in the automotive insurance market, where it already serves other vehicle makers and mobility providers. For Stellantis, the partnership advances its goal to offer connected, integrated financial and mobility services across its portfolio.
