The 2025 Publicity Month for Preventing Illegal Financial Activities has officially kicked off. Strengthening publicity and education work in all aspects is the fundamental solution to prevent the risks of illegal financial activities. To further enhance the awareness and ability of the people to prevent and resist illegal financial activities, in June 2025, the Inter-ministerial Joint Conference on Preventing and Combating Illegal Financial Activities will organize and carry out a publicity month for preventing illegal financial activities across the country. In accordance with relevant regulations, a concentrated publicity day for preventing illegal financial activities will be held on June 15th. At that time, all regions, relevant departments, financial regulatory bureaus, and financial institutions will focus on areas prone to risks and key susceptible groups, and launch a variety of online and offline activities to strengthen the use of cases to warn and explain the law.
During the Publicity Month, the Office of the Inter-ministerial Joint Conference on Preventing and Combating Illegal Financial Activities will guide China Financial Media to carry out publicity activities simultaneously through platforms such as the “Finance +” APP, People’s Daily Online, China Media Group Cloud Listening, Tencent, Douyin, Sina Finance, and Alipay.

The fifth season of the “Knowledge Quiz Team Competition on Preventing Illegal Financial Activities” initiated by China Financial Media combines education with entertainment through role-playing and scenario simulation.
In collaboration with People’s Daily Online, the “Hundred Schools Anti-African Swine Fever Program” was launched, actively promoting the introduction of anti-African swine fever knowledge into schools.
In collaboration with Douyin, the “#dou to Protect Your Wallet” topic challenge was launched, and experts in the financial field were invited to participate in the “100 Financial Experts Talk about Preventing Illegal Publications” event, gathering professional “anti-illegal publications voices”.
In collaboration with Sina Finance Weibo, Weibo topic tags such as “# Guard Your Wallet · Protect Your Happy Home” and “Publicity Month for Preventing Illegal Financial Activities” were launched, and a series of short videos and popular science posts on preventing illegal financial activities will continue to be released during the Publicity Month.
