FWD Hong Kong has introduced the GBASsure Outpatient Plan, a new healthcare product designed for cross-border use. This plan was developed in partnership with Greater Bay Area Healthcare (GBAH).
The GBASsure plan offers outpatient services in Hong Kong, Macau, and six mainland cities within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).
Comprehensive Healthcare Network
GBASsure taps into GBAH’s network of over 240 clinics and partnerships with public and private hospitals. It covers a wide range of healthcare services, including general consultations, specialist care, diagnostics, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), dental treatments, and colonoscopies.
Flexible Benefits for Customers and Families
The plan is available not only to customers but also to their designated family members. There is no limit to the number of beneficiaries under the plan.
Customers can access both face-to-face and online consultations with their family doctors. All services meet Hong Kong’s high-quality healthcare standards.

GBASsure offers several convenient features:
Waivers on co-payments for over-the-counter online consultations
Shared electronic medical records between healthcare providers
An online direct payment system for easy billing
Strengthening Partnerships in Cross-Border Healthcare
This collaboration adds to GBAH’s partnerships with other major insurers such as AIA Hong Kong, Taiping Life Hong Kong, Chow Tai Fook Life, AXA Tianping Insurance, and Ping An Insurance Group.
GBAH aims to meet the rising demand for cross-border healthcare services among residents of Hong Kong and Macau through these partnerships.
